PRINTING: On another note, have you ever been curious what else to do with Christmas themed images besides have them on your Christmas card and hiding away in the digital black hole? There are a few options so they get to see the light after the cards have been tossed away! With these images specifically, I will be printing them on metal, so they can easily be packed up with the Christmas décor and have it only displayed when the elves come out next year. Another great option is to make an album! We get some really goofy and fun images with these sessions, with lots of images that may not make a large wall print, but can add some spunk to those albums. RETOUCHING VS EDITING ONLY: The images below are examples of edited but NOT retouched images. The images on the card above are edited AND retouched. Most photographers only edit images, but do not retouch images. That is part of the difference in pricing structures. Retouching consists of editing specific parts of the image. For example skin blemishes, backdrop smoothing, swapping heads (the first image above is actually 3 images put together, and the second is 2 images), eye brightening, fixing clothing that didn’t lay quite right, even a little nip & tuck if you want it… the list goes on! These examples are not as bad as they can be as we prepped our faces extra carefully this year, but there are little differences throughout the images which don’t make them as stunning/ finished looking.
